Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fiddler, an app operated by Veiter. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've kept the language as plain as we can; the parts that look like legal jargon are there because we're required to spell certain things out clearly.

Who can use Fiddler

You must be 18 or older. You must be looking to be set up for real first dates with real people. You agree to use your real first and last name and your real face in your profile photo — the entire model assumes friends in your circle can recognize and vouch for you. Impersonation, pseudonyms, or photos that aren't current pictures of you are grounds for removal.

How matchmaking works

Fiddler proposes setups based on your dossier (the onboarding chat), your social graph (mutual contacts and friends who've vouched), your stated preferences, and the matchmaker AI's read of compatibility. We do not guaranteethat any setup will result in a date, a relationship, or a good experience. We don't promise that matches will respond, show up, or behave well. Real-world dating involves risk; Fiddler curates introductions but cannot eliminate that risk.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Fiddler to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or stalk anyone, on or off the platform;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or relationship status;
• Solicit money, services, or contact information for purposes outside of dating;
• Promote commercial activity, businesses, or other apps;
• Use automated tools, scripts, scraping, or bots to interact with the platform;
• Attempt to identify, contact, or unmask the friends who vouched on your matches;
• Take screenshots of other users' photos, dossier text, or vouching responses for distribution off-platform;
• Circumvent the matchmaker by trying to extract another user's contact info before a date is confirmed;
• Use Fiddler if you've been removed from the platform for any of the above.

Your content

The photo you upload, the answers you give, and the conversations you have with the matchmaker remain yours. By using Fiddler, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service — showing your photo to vouchers, displaying your basics on match cards, and feeding your dossier to the matchmaker AI. This license ends when you delete your account.

Reports, blocks, and trust

You can report a user (Setup card → ⋯ → Report) or block a match (same menu → Report & Block). Reports are reviewed by the Fiddler team. Three substantiated reports against the same person trigger automatic exclusion from future matches. Blocking is immediate and bidirectional — neither of you will be matched with the other again.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account at our discretion if we believe it's being used to harm other users or violate these terms. We may do this without prior notice in cases of safety risk.

Reporting safety concerns

If something happens during or after a setup that makes you feel unsafe, file a report through the app and email safety@veiter.ai with details. For immediate physical safety concerns, contact local emergency services (in Israel: 100 for police, 101 for ambulance) before contacting us.

Disclaimer of warranties

Fiddler is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about the suitability of matches, the accuracy of any user's profile or dossier, the behavior of other users on or off the platform, or the continuous availability of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veiter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Fiddler — including emotional distress, loss of opportunity, or harm caused by another user's behavior. Our total cumulative liability under these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) ₪500 or (b) any amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. To the extent any provision is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary to be enforceable.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and immediate. We may close accounts that violate these terms, are inactive for an extended period, or pose a safety risk to the community.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Fiddler evolves. If we make material changes — for example, adding paid features, changing how matchmaking works, or expanding what we collect — we'll surface a notice in the app and update the "last updated" date above. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Fiddler will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.

You and Veiter agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally before pursuing legal action — email legal@veiter.ai first; we'll make a good-faith effort to address your concern within 30 days.
